The Rooots & Routes Trip Planning Service was created to help travellers explore Africa with spontaneity and ease. Having travelled to more than 100 destinations over the last 2 years, to observe and learn how the COVID-19 pandemic is changing the way we travel, I know that every destination has amazing things to do, see, and experience which are really hard to find and book online.
The goal of this planning service is to champion the traveller experience, promote responsible tourism, and support local businesses and communities as the world continues to reopen

How Does It Work?
Skip the planning and let me chart your next holiday. Pay the planning fee, fill out our survey with your preferred dates, budget, and travel style, and it’ll send you a trip proposal. You can be completely surprised by the destination or tick of that destination in Africa that has been on your bucket list.

Step 1
Pay the planning fee of ZAR 1 250.00. This fee includes:- Customer Support Pre, During & Post The Trip
- Personalised itinerary
- Booking & Reservation Service

Step 2
After payment, you'll receive the trip survey. Fill it in, decide your trip type, and tell me your interests + travel history.To help you plan your holiday, I'll need to know:- Travel dates, preferences + history
- Traveller information + interests
- Your budget:
- Per person for Plane, and surprise trips
- Per night for road trips, and outdoor road trips.

Step 3
- Leave the planning to me! I will prepare an itinerary based on your answers from Step 2. Please be as detailed as possible when filling in the survey.
- When you are happy we will help you reserve your accommodations, activities, transport, and more.
- If you selected the surprise trip option in the pre-trip survey, your destination will be kept a secret till the day before you travel.

Step 4
A week before your departure, you receive an email to help you prepare for your trip.This email contains:- The weather forecast for your destination
- A suggested packing list
- Any luggage size restrictions
- Where to go + when
Also included will be a curated list of recommendations based on your interests for everything from cafes to nightlife to rainy day activities, hotel directions, fun facts, and more!5
Step 5
On the day of departure, you’ll have the flexibility to choose your own adventure and set your own pace for exploring your destination.If anything comes up during your getaway, you can contact me on the Traveller WhatsApp Support line to help with everything you need before, during, and after your Trip.
